Focus Dock
Focus Dock: put your phone down and keep it there
Focus Dock is one of four ways to earn in Screenwage. You point the camera at your desk to place a focus zone, lay the phone in it, and the session earns grains while the phone stays put. Lift it early and an alarm plays until you put it back.

How to use Focus Dock
- Start a focus session and choose Focus Dock.
- Point the camera at your desk and place the zone where the phone will rest.
- Lay the phone in the zone and get to work.
- When the session ends, pick it up. Your grains are already in the hourglass.
Why a physical zone helps
Most phone checks are automatic: the hand reaches before you decide. An alarm turns that reach into a choice you notice. Earning also pauses while the phone is out of the zone, so the session only counts the time it actually stayed down.
Other ways to earn
If you need the phone during focus, use Phone Work, which keeps only your work apps open. If you just want time to count while the phone is locked away, use Background. Stay Put pauses whenever the phone moves, without the camera. All four are explained in how Screenwage works.
Questions
- Does Focus Dock record video?
- No. The camera is used only to place the zone on your desk. Nothing is recorded or saved.
